Counterpoint has also said that Nokia has managed to in the United Kingdom when it comes to smartphone shipments. We're yet to see any new Nokia device in 2018, but with MWC being just around the corner, it's logical to expect a few devices, namely the Nokia 9, the Nokia 7, and an LTE-enabled 3310. However, one Finnish startup, HMD Global Oy, chose to take the big risk and resurrect the Nokia brand. You can check the availability of the fresh update on your Nokia 8 by going to Settings System updates. The Nokia 2, which launched in the United States and India last November, will hit store shelves this month with an affordable £99 price tag.

Meanwhile, talking about the upcoming devices, the Nokia 6 (2018), as mentioned earlier has already been launched in China earlier this year.

While the devices will get announced later this month, they won't be launched in the Indian market soon. Among the consumer-facing changes, the update brings settings revamp, quick settings update, notification shade changes, final Oreo easter egg, and more. It has a 16MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera both with Bothie support and a 3000mAh battery as its predecessor.

The flagship comes with a 5.3-inch quad-HD IPS display with 700 nits of brightness, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable by up to 256GB via a hybrid micro-SD card slot.

The Nokia 8 is now among a very few smartphones to receive the latest Android 8.1 Oreo update. The recent reports have suggested that the Nokia 9 could be announced with the moniker Nokia 8 Sirocco.

The Nokia 9 is the third smartphone that is believed to be launched in India in the second quarter.
