The Tigers don't go into the NCAA Tournament the way they might have hoped a month ago, when they had won 21 of 23 games from November 19 to February 14 including 14 straight to end nonconference play and open their SEC slate.

The Aggies are 2-2 as a No. 12 seed, including going to the Sweet 16 as No. 12 seed in 1992.

The Tigers, along with Colonial Athletic Association champion College of Charleston, are the two Palmetto State teams who will find out today what they are seeded, where they will be playing and, most importantly, who they will be playing in the 68-team tournament. We like the Tigers to win this game.

They haven't been able to solve Virginia, though.

The 2017-2018 season marks the third time Brownell has won at least 20 games as the Tigers' coach.

Carolina lost to Arkansas in the second round of the Southeastern Conference tournament on Thursday.

Auburn, which won the SEC regular-season title for the first time in almost two decades, is one of a record eight league teams in the NCAA Tournament. Clemson is a battled-tested team from the rugged ACC, but they haven't advanced out of the first round since 1997. Head coach Bruce Pearl said assistant coaches Harris Adler, Steven Pearl and Chad Prewett will each be assigned the scout for each one of those three teams. "Really as much as anything just really proud of our players and what they've accomplished this season and obviously what that's afforded us is more basketball", Brownell said.

Salt scored all eight of his points and snatched six of his game-high eight rebounds after halftime. "I'm taking New Mexico State". Marcquise Reed was named to the All-ACC second-team, Gabe DeVoe earned All-ACC honorable mention, while Elijah Thomas was named to the All-ACC Defensive team. I think this team has some destiny in them. "But I think Michigan State is going to win that region". Coach Chris Jans' Aggies are led by senior guard Zach Lofton, who is averaging 19.8 points per game, and senior forward Jemerrio Jones, who is averaging 11.1 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
