Destiny 2: How to Buy Warmind DLC

We've been talking about the latest Destiny 2 expansion for some time now, explaining how Warmind could be a real game-changer with its new story arc and its other add-ons.

The expansion stars a new guardian named Ana Bray and brings back an old frienemy the warmind Rasputin. Downtime will last approximately five hours between 6-11am PT, though you will be able to preload Destiny 2 Warmind during this time, once update 1.2.0 has been applied. Purchase the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass and get access to both Expansion I and Expansion II.

The Destiny 2 Warmind expansion is a hefty download, weighing in at 53GB on PS4.

"We are excited about the future of the Destiny franchise".

Furthermore, the new Warmind expansion was made possible by the help of devs over at Vicarious Visions.

There's also a new vendor space called Braytech Futurescape and a co-op mode called Escalation Protocol where players will face waves of enemies.

Bungie explains more: "Escalation Protocol is a public, player-triggered event where players fight escalating waves of enemies and slay challenging bosses alongside their Fireteam and other courageous Guardians on Mars". Players can also expect a host of new exotics. In addition, a new Raid Lair called Spire of Stars is coming to Destiny 2 alongside the expansion's release as well as changes to the Crucible. She added, “Weve learned a lot from Bungie while working together and we hope the players see the care and craft weve given Warmind.”.

Players can pick Destiny 2: Warmind for $19.99. You can see everything that's changed in the full patch notes on Bungie's website. I'm not exactly hopeful that it'll provide more than a few week's worth of entertainment, but I'm at the point where I'll gladly devour any new Destiny 2 content.
