EPL: Manchester United plot £80m Martial-Willian swap deal with Chelsea

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has given the green light for Anthony Martial to join Juventus, it has been revealed. It's for that reason that United forked out so much to secure his services from AS Monaco in the first place.

Players will certainly be leaving and one of the more high-profile exits is set to be French forward Anthony Martial.

United will nearly certainly be hesitant to sell to Chelsea like that - especially when both of their main rivals are powered by players Mourinho has given up on - although reports suggest that there might be a way for both teams to get what they want. He needs a move away from Old Trafford, and Chelsea are thought to be keen.

Conte, though, does not have any interest in discussing the matter at this time.

He told journalists: "For many months you are always asking me why this player doesn't play, why that player doesn't play, why this player is on the bench, why always Lukaku?"

"I think this is not the right moment to speak about this".

The Frenchman has found opportunities hard to come by at Old Trafford since Mourinho's arrival in 2016, despite finishing as the club's top scorer in his debut campaign in the Premier League.

When asked to comment on Chelsea's links with Martial, Conte replied: "Our focus is to finish this season in the best possible way". For Martial it's usually seen as a permanent deal, and that's the case again.
