I knew the format of 'Race', just made some changes: Salman Khan

Remo D'Souza who is popular for dance movies jumps into action genre with Race 3. The characters are notorious for dialogues that are threats against their rivals. The film stars Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala in lead roles.

Hollywood action director Tom Struthers and Indian action director Anil Arasu were on call to pull off the stunts. The much-anticipated summer movie, which will hit theatres next month had been teasing fans with its trailer release date, including rumours of releasing it with Avengers: Infinity War.

While the previous two Race films narrated the story of Ranvir Singh played by Saif Ali Khan, with the third instalment, the makers have decided upon introducing a new storyline altogether. It was a hard genre for me to do, I wanted (a) few changes.

Salman Khan's conviction in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case in April gave many producers sleepless nights but the actor himself. "If this film goes okay then this team will do the other film together", said Salman. "I knew the genre of the film but I did not know where I will fit in the genre", he added. "This film has a vibe that earlier Bachchan saab, Dharmendraji used to do". Salman accepted that he hadn't seen the first couple of Race films to get context. Also, Jacqueline fans are in for the treat as the trailer will show her pole dancing skills yet again after A Gentleman.
