Melania Trump to skip Camp David trip, marking a 22-day absence

Melania Trump is still keeping to herself - this time while her family vacations at Camp David. With this, it has been the last 22 days that Melania last made a public appearance.

First lady Melania Trump hasn't appeared at a public event in almost a month, and that could continue at least until mid-June following the news Sunday that she won't be accompanying the president to the G7 meeting in Quebec nor the planned North Korea summit in Singapore.

Mrs. Trump's decision not to go to Quebec is a departure from a year ago, when she made an global summit debut at the G7 meeting in Italy and followed up at the forum of G20 industrialized and developing nations in Germany.

But, Huffington Post compared Melania's tweet with previous tweets from the President, and they pointed out that "working overtime" is one of the President's favorite phrases.

One news correspondent swore she saw Melania around the White House as recently as Tuesday afternoon.

Her mother, Amalija Knavs, was seen walking along the White House grounds around midday Friday.

The first lady was last seen on May 10, which was three days after she introduced her anti-bullying campaign and four days before it was announced she was having kidney surgery at Walter Reed Medical Center.

It's now been 21 days since the First Lady was seen in public.

Then, on May 30 an update popped up on the First Lady's Twitter account. "They're probably just reminding her how to play well with others". Has there ever been less scrutiny of a modern First Lady?

While there are plenty of theories about Melania's public disappearance, it is most plausible that she is in fact inside the White House right now taking it easy.

Conspiracy theories are growing and not likely to stop with the latest news of the first lady's absence.
