Pop star Demi Lovato was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Tuesday after an apparent drug overdose but remained in stable condition. The report indicated that the "Sorry, Not Sorry" singer was found unconscious inside her Hollywood Hills home on Tuesday.

"Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers, and support", Lovato's representative told entertainment magazine Variety in a statement.

The speculation likely pertains to initial reports that Lovato overdosed on heroin, which led to her hospitalization. She was later treated with Narcan, an emergency treatment for narcotic overdoses, TMZ says. Even though she rehearses so many times, she makes mistakes.

It is the same show that Iggy Azalea spoke of with ET earlier this month, when she excitedly revealed that she was opening for Lovato.

"When I was 14, she was an idol to me in how she spoke so openly about mental health". "She's been honest with him about her relapse, as she has with her family, friends, fans and the entire public, especially with her new song, but he didn't think it was this severe and that she would be struggling so much and have a situation that had these repercussions". She had been sober for six years from alcohol, cocaine and Oxycontin, according to TMZ.

The singer had recently released "Sober", which lyrics reveal she had fallen off the wagon.

In addition, Demi Lovato's scheduled performance in Atlantic City this coming Thursday has been cancelled.
