To celebrate the rapid success and popularity of Fortnite, the YouTube filmmaker group Oddest of the Odd has created FORTNITE: The Movie, celebrating Epic Game's colorful, zany, and free game.

"In the 2018 - 2019 season, Epic Games will provide $100,000,000 to fund prize pools for Fortnite competitions". Completing all of these challenges will unlock the Birthday Cake backpack cosmetic items.

Finally, players will need to dance in front of 10 different birthday cakes spread around the map to earn the birthday cake spray. For instance, dealing 1000 damage will unlock a "Birthday!" emote while playing 14 matches nets you 5,000 XP.

With the expected deluge of Android players coming to the game, the release of "Fortnite" Android is expected to overwhelm Epic Games' current servers.

Whatever you feel about Fortnite and Battle Royale games in general, they're obviously here to stay for now, and interest in them as a whole doesn't seem to be declining in the least.

For those who play the Battle Royale mode, there will be three challenges to complete to unlock some birthday themed cosmetics.

Complete the Fortnite Birthday questline in Save the World and earn the Birthday Brigade Ramirez Hero.

Special birthday challenges will be available for the duration of the event. Ironically, its initial release into early access with Save the World was largely ignored, and it wasn't until Battle Royale was released that the game became an worldwide phenomenon.

During the birthday celebration, players will also be able to spend tickets on birthday llamas which can unlock Heroes and weapons from every event this year.

Only a handful of video games have reached $1 billion in sales, although the number is rising sharply in recent years thanks to microtransactions. However, shortly after launch the Playground was closed, leading to complaints from players and pressure on Epic Games to fix the issue.
