Kevin Spacey is under investigation in Britain for three more allegations of sexual assault, after London police received new complaints against the American actor, according to reports in British and global media.

The 58 year-old Oscar-winning actor now faces accusations of sexual assault from more than 30 men, the BBC says.

Following Spacey's statement, numerous accusers came forward with claims of sexual misconduct.

Spacey is now under investigation in both the United Kingdom and the USA for a total of six sexual assault claims.

Spacey, 58, is already under investigation by the Scotland Yard for three separate sexual assault allegations.

Five of the alleged offenses took place in London between 1996 and 2008, and the sixth in the western English city of Gloucester in 2013.

In response to those initial allegations, Spacey controversially came out as gay, with many criticizing his timing.

After starting with Kate Winslet - Pearce described her as "divine" - Denton then asked for the actor's thoughts on Kevin Spacey, whom he worked with on crime film L.A. Confidential in 1997. "Slightly hard time with Kevin, yeah", he said, before adding: "He's a handsy guy".

"Amazing actor, incredible actor", he said.

London's Old Vic Theater also conducted it's own investigation after "20 personal testimonies" were heard against the actor.

Actor Anthony Rapp says Kevin Spacey climbed on top of him and tried to seduce him when he was 14.

After a very uncomfortable pause, he added, as if to clarify that it was indeed exactly what everyone was thinking, "Thankfully, I was 29 and not 14".

Netflix series House Of Cards, in which Spacey played the lead role, had him written out, and director Ridley Scott had him cut from All The Money In The World and drafted in Christopher Plummer as a replacement.
