For the first time since he joined the club in 2009, those in power at Real Madrid are seriously seeing Cristiano Ronaldo's departure as a real possibility this summer.

"Real Madrid has made no offer of any kind to PSG or the player".

Ronaldo was knocked out of the World Cup on Saturday night as Portugal suffered a 2-1 defeat to Uruguay, courtesy of an Edinson Cavani brace.

However, the situation was quite similar a year ago, as the former Manchester United player let it be known that he wanted out of Madrid over issues with Spanish tax authorities, only to end up staying at the Bernabeu.

"The football he needs is available in Spain, for example".

Firstly they suggest that he has fallen out with Real Madrid's president, stating that his relationship with Florentino Perez has broken down completely. Marca reported Tuesday that transfer negotiations were underway with Juventus and that a deal would go through pending a last-minute change.

Mbappe has so far scored three World Cup goals, including two in France 4-3 round-of-16 victory over Argentina.

However, Real have released another official statement regarding the reports.

Mbappe joined PSG past year on an initial loan deal that will become permanent this summer in a deal that will see him become the second most expensive player in history. It was announced this week that UEFA are reviewing their decision to clear PSG of breaching FFP, amid allegations that Qatar vastly overstated the value of a sponsorship deal in order to find a way around the rules.
