Trump tells Hannity Russians 'have no information on Trump'

President Trump holds a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki on Monday.

The party of Donald trump criticized his statement at a press-conference with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki.

"But it came just two-and-a-half hours after Trump said that while he had great confidence" in US intelligence, Putin's denial of election meddling was 'extremely strong and powerful'.

The US intelligence community has concluded otherwise, and just on Friday the Justice Department announced charges against 12 Russian nationals as part of the special counsel's probe into Russian meddling in the election.

Trump's performance in Helsinki raised the ire of a number of republicans from both houses of Congress.

Trump adds, "And one thing you know: If they had it, it would have been out".

Putin said he told Trump during their meeting that "the Russian state never interfered and does not plan to interfere in internal American electoral process".

Translators accompanied the leaders in the meetings, though Putin often reacted before the translation, clearly understanding Trump's English.

Trump says he has "great confidence" in his intelligence agencies who have concluded Russian Federation interfered in the election. Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs account liked Trump's tweet and retweeted it, adding "We agree".

Many Republican lawmakers slammed Trump's comments.
