As if the leaked photos were not already enough, a video has also surfaced of the Pixel 3 XL being unboxed.

The Pixel 3 XL will launch with Android 9 Pie pre-installed, obviously, and will get Google's latest software updates ahead of any other smartphone. The images show the Pixel 3 XL switched on and in working condition, lending weight to its legitimacy. The new leaked pictures don't really show off anything new about the device, apart from the new USB-C earbuds that will come with the device itself. We can also see a USB-C to 3.5mm dongle (there's no built-in headphone jack), a USB-C to USB-A adapter for transferring information from another device, and the usual USB-C charging cable.

A Pixel 3 XL prototype that Google hasn't remotely nuked yet.

As well as the phone itself, the pictures give away that Google might be about to include a pair of USB-C headphones in the box that look a lot like the wireless Pixel Buds it released with the Pixel 2 XL a year ago. Google Pixel 3 will have a screen resolution of 1440×2960 pixels with a pixel density of 494 ppi. This is the first prototype we've seen with the final "G" Google logo.

Obtained by Android Police, the pictures appear to show a finished production version of the Pixel 3 XL - complete with notched display and USB-C headphones. The back of the phone looks similar to that of the Pixel 2 XL though, with a metal and glass cover and a single-lens camera. It could have 4GB RAM. Leaked photos of the handset show an XL sized notch at the top which is nearly twice as deep as the iPhone X's notch. The images reiterate that the Pixel 3 XL will sport a display notch.
