President Trump calls Omarosa a ‘dog’ in angry early-morning tweet

The panel on "The Five" reacted to former White House aide and reality star Omarosa Manigault-Newman audiotaping private conversations with Chief of Staff John Kelly and President Donald Trump.

The HuffPost then reported that Manigault-Newman told "at least three Trump aides" that it was staffer and former contestant Troy McClain who showed her the tape. He followed that comment up on Monday with a Twitter tirade of insults directed at Newman who he said "begged" him for a job with tears in her eyes.

Asked whether she believed that at the time, Newman said she just "kind of stepped back" and wanted to see whether Clinton and her people were behind the birther movement. John Kelly is White House chief of staff.

She added, "This is his pattern with African-Americans".

"It just tells us how chaotic and how unusual the inner circle is around Donald Trump", he said.

On Monday, the former Apprentice contestant released what she claimed is a recording to a phone call between herself and the President the day after she was sacked from government.

"I don't have that word in my vocabulary, and never have".

"I said, well, sir, can you think of anytime that this might have happened and he said, no", she said. "I asked if I could go get my purse where I had stashed my inhaler, and they wouldn't let me leave the room". The book paints a damning picture of Trump, including her claim that he used racial slurs on the set of his reality show "The Apprentice".

Manigault Newman also alleges that Trump allies tried to buy her silence after she left the White House, offering her $15,000 a month to accept a "senior position" on his 2020 re-election campaign along with a stringent nondisclosure agreement. The Trump tape was made one day after Manigault Newman was sacked from the administration; and the Kelly recording was made when the retired general dismissed her in the Situation Room.

"She claims to have heard from someone who heard from me that I heard Trump use the N-word", he said in an August 10 tweet.

As President, however, Trump has stoked racial tensions in the U.S., blaming "both sides" after violence sparked a year ago by a neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

"She wore that jacket to hurt Trump", Manigault Newman writes. On the tape, Kelly said he's been made aware of "significant integrity issues" about her, including issues that made her "open to some legal action".

Price said while there is no one at the door of the Situation Room checking devices, there is a sign posted outside making clear that electronic devices are not permitted. In "Unhinged", Manigault Newman writes that the Trump 2020 campaign offered her a $15,000-per-month contract after she was sacked last December, with a stringent non-disclosure agreement attached.

"The moment we started talking about the N-word tape I was surprised no one doubted that he said it, and in fact they worked to try to suppress this tape for so long and everyone says he said it", she added.

Publicly, White House officials have looked to attack Manigault Newman's character as they seek to knock down her most salacious accusations.

"When I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear", she told ABC News in December. "For a man who lies as much as Trump, you'd think he'd be better at it", he said.
