Samsung's $1000 Note 9 is great - but so is the cheaper S9

One standout feature of the Note 9 is that the stylus can be used to remotely take pictures and flip files if the phone is used as a tool at presentations.

The prices aren't exactly cheap but there are around the same range as other flagship smartphones such as the iPhone X and P20 Pro.

The dual-SIM phone has all the basic connectivity options you would expect on a phone of this price- 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and Global Positioning System. The Galaxy Smart Watch will be available in colour options such as Rose Gold, Silver and Midnight Black. The Galaxy A8 Star is backed by a 3,700mAh battery and supports adaptive fast charging.

Samsung has added a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and the device also has Face Unlock functionality.
