The Mohave County Sheriff's Office said that they had found one of the missing boaters Monday morning. The body of Brian Grabowski, 50, was found earlier on Tuesday while the body of Christine Lewis, 51, was found on Monday.

One woman is reportedly dead and three more people are still missing after a horrific boat crash at Moabi Regional Park in California on Saturday night.

The accident happened after sunset, making rescue efforts hard, authorities said. Six other people suffered moderate, non-life threatening injuries and six more had injuries considered minor, the fire district said. Following the crash, other boaters in the area rushed to pull survivors from the water. Nine people were injured, officials said.

The search resumed Sunday, but authorities said the toll of missing had risen to four at that point.

Other recreational boats raced to the scene to rescue victims. The Mohave County Sheriff's Office said it will continue to patrol the Colorado River until all passengers are accounted for.

A search continued for two other women and one man.

Anita Mortensen, a sheriff's spokeswoman, said that investigators haven't yet determined if speed played any role in the accident.

The stretch of river along the California-Arizona border where the collision took place had been crowded with people enjoying the Labor Day weekend.

Helicopters were deployed, and authorities scoured the shoreline to try to find them. Divers have been sent into the river, which can run as deep as 30 feet (9 meters).

No one on the boats was wearing a life vest, Mohave County Sheriff Doug Schuster said, adding that use of life vests is not mandatory but is recommended.

The Mohave and San Bernardino county sheriff's departments are conducting dive and search operations in the area of the crash, which stretches for about 2 miles, officials said.
