Rodgers returns from injury, Packers beat Bears 24-23

Combined with the notion that 2018 could be a virtually Rodgers-less season, Kizer's play in the second quarter put Packers fans in a dark place. After a single knee injury reopened the wounds from lost seasons of recent past, Rodgers plucked every cheesehead worldwide from an autumn of depression and bitterness.

The last of the scores was a 75-yard touchdown to receiver Randall Cobb with 2:13 left in the game.

Not again: Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers continued his domination of the Bears. Trubisky gained 32 yards on seven carries, scoring on a 2-yard keeper and gaining 3 yards on a nice quarterback sweep, but at times he was too quick to abandon passes.

Danica Patrick was in shock as boyfriend Aaron Rodgers completed a dramatic comeback, leading the Green Bay Packers to a win against the Chicago Bears.

However, to the surprise of many - and in a testament to his bloody-mindedness - he returned to the sidelines for the second-half and appeared to be ready to play.

"We're paid to deal with injuries and play through 'em", Rodgers said after the victory.

"I prepared all offseason for the first game of the season and I wanted to. make an impact", Mack said.

The idea of the Raiders trading Khalil Mack was insane to a lot of people, but the man who helped orchestrate the deal put the blame squarely on one person.

"I felt like once I got back out there, when the adrenaline was going, it loosened up a little bit", Rodgers said.

There were two chapters to this game.

He started quietly, getting 42 yards on his first drive back to set up Mason Crosby's 42-yard field goal to get the Packers on the board. But contract talks never got going, and so Mack was shipped off for the best offer out there.

With the Lambeau Field crowd back in the game, Trubisky and the Bears were able to convert three third downs and got down to the Packers' 14-yard line before having to settle for another Parkey field goal to make it 26 20.
