Unai Emery provides update on Lucas Torreira

The Uruguay global made his full Arsenal debut last night in their 4-2 victory over FC Vorskla Poltava in their Europa League opener. "And today I think was a good opportunity for not conceding goals, but I think the last 20 minutes, we need to be better on this competitive aspect".

Goalkeeper: Bernd Leno didn't have too much to do other than pick the ball out the net twice against Vorskla so he didn't do enough to convince Emery he should be our No.1 just yet.

Interestingly, the Spaniard, who is highly-rated in the Europa League, has an intimidating record after guiding Sevilla to three successive titles between 2014 and 2016.

It follows a series of matches this year when there were thousands of empty seats, culminating with Thursday's first European match under new head coach Unai Emery against Ukrainian team Vorskla Poltava.

Attack: Aaron Ramsey has been deployed in the advanced central midfield role in recent weeks so I expect him to come back in against Everton after being rested in midweek.

"Of course, (Petr) is a big personality". I keep calm. My chance will come. I think it is the best.

"It is a little bit more risky to play because we don't want to kick the ball up front", he added. We want to play because we have the players to play from the back to have more space in the opposite 18-yard box.

Cech has kept his place despite an indifferent start to the campaign, which has been blighted by suggestions he is not suited to Emery's approach of playing out from the back, something Leno was routinely asked to do at Leverkusen.

"Also, then we have the possibility to give them chances to continue improving and show their performance with this passion and look at each performance in each match or in training here at Colney. But it needs a little bit of time for the whole team to improve and to get the confidence".
