Four months later, they break up.

TMZ, which broke the news: "Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson split, engagement called off".

"Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend", Grande's team told People in a statement before the show.

TMZ is reporting the couple chose to split up this weekend. Regularly referenced by the media, TMZ is one of the most cited entertainment news sources in the world. Grande and Davidson (or "Grandson," as they're known) managed to truly ignite the Internet this summer, as observers gawked at their new and very public love. Since then, Grande has been largely absent from social media, canceling scheduled performances and delaying her tour indefinitely. In late September, he told Howard Stern, "I just think some people are meant to be together and some people aren't". TMZ reports that Miller's death was the "breaking point" in her whirling romance with the Saturday Night Live comedian, which came to an end this weekend. "The chamber of secrets has been opened", Davidson wrote. They also got matching tattoos and a pet pig-all in the span of five months. The headlines at the time made mention of the engagement ring, valued around $100,000. Soon, they moved in to a $16 million apartment. They bought an apartment in NY in June.

According to reports, Grande and Davidson are done romantically but still remain friends.

Scooter said: "One of the most awesome things about this organization is that they help people when they're having the worst moments in their life, and they give sympathy and a calm nature to people in need in those moments".

Davidson confirmed their engagement in June. She shared a heartfelt message for Miller after his passing, writing, "I adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and i always will".
