Donald Trump Hosts Kanye West In Bizarre White House Meeting

Kanye West climbed onto the table of an Apple store in Washington DC where he gave a seemingly impromptu "keynote" address where he said President Donald Trump is open to "adjusting and listening" just after he met Trump in the White House. He was seated alongside former National Football League star Jim Brown, who had also come to the White House to talk about prison reform.

The Grand Hustle rapper revealed that Kanye asked him to accompany him to the meeting at the White House with Trump, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, and he turned him down.

"If you want to be conservative, if you want to support Donald Trump, that is your business", he said. "He might not have thought he'd have a insane motherf-ker like me" in the White House, he said in an agitated, rapid-fire delivery.

As West rambled in front of the president, Kimmel joked: "Now he knows how we feel every morning when we wake up to him".

West said that he hopes the president and his detractors can find some common ground. But he said "this hat, it gives me power".

"Trump is on his hero's journey right now", West said, tossing out an expletive to describe himself.

Here's what West said: "We feel stop-and-frisk does not help relationships in the city".

As he has often done in recent days, the 41-year-old rapper sported a red "Make America Great Again" hat from Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, which he referred to as his "Superman cape" on Saturday Night Live during last week's visit to the variety show.

And while he's rocking the MAGA hat and stumping for Trump, Taylor Swift of all people has stepped up to throw her support behind two Democratic Senate contenders. "It's attractive though." He said that Trump had given him (we assume metaphorically) "a Superman cape" to help do good.

West credits Trump with stopping a potential war with North Korea and is encouraging Trump to swap his usual Air Force One jet for a hydrogen-powered plane. And then after that, we're still family, we're still around each other.

"What do these celebrities think they're accomplishing with Trump?".

"That was quite something", Mr Trump said at the end of West's freewheeling soliloquy.

"We had the opportunity to meet with the President of the United States which everybody doesn't have that privilege".
