Even Messi would struggle at Man United this season - Scholes

Paul Scholes believes he knows why Paul Pogba isn't performing at the standards he set while at Juventus and implied the French World Cup victor is unable to control games in the way a player of his calibre should.

Jose Mourinho since time immemorial is known for his "parking the bus" style of football when playing against a tougher side, in fact during his days as Chelsea's coach, Jose Mourinho had made use of 6 defenders in a game.

However, it doesn't always work out for our aspiring youngsters, many of whom are released or sold to lesser clubs before they even have a chance to play for the first team.

However, Jose Mourinho will have some other tactical challenges to face in the game against Chelsea.

He will hope to lead the West London club to victory when they take on Manchester United at home in the Premier League fixture this weekend. Commenting on how the tables have turned in the last few years, Scholes said, "It shouldn't make any difference but it does". "I feel like we could sign Lionel Messi at the moment and he'd struggle in this team". Now he has more maturity, he knows what he needs to do, he proves that with us.

Asked by about Alexis Sanchez, he replied: "I know he has qualities and has been a good player but I never saw him as a United player". I didn't think he was a player that we needed, especially for that type of money.

However, it is added that the Ivorian won't push through a winter exit from United, though that may emerge as a possible case next summer, should he continue to remain a bit-part player under Mourinho. I'm not saying that any Man United player has ever done that, but you hear so much stuff now that you think it could be possible.
