Mayweather made over $300m for his boxing match with McGregor and it looks like he's hungry for another huge payday against Khabib. In the jungle, only one king.

Mayweather, who was coaxed out of retirement past year by the prospect of a massive payday against McGregor, has recently suggested that he is set to dust off the gloves yet again.

Mayweather responded to Nurmagomedov's call-out on Instagram: "CBS, Showtime and MGM Grand get the checkbook out!". "A 50-0 against a 27-0, two guys who have never been beaten, why not?" he continued. The Dagestani fighter had his entire $2 million purse from UFC 229 withheld by the Nevada State Athletic Commission after he jumped into the crowd to attack one of Conor McGregor " s cornermen following the October 6 main event in Las Veags.

In an Instagram post on October 14, Nurmagomedov wrote: "Hey, let's go, Floyd. Let's make Las Vegas great again", Mayweather stated. Mayweather, who defeated Pacquiao in their 2015 megafight that shattered PPV records, hyped up the possibility of a rematch, which remains likely following Pacquiao's decision to sign with Mayweather adviser Al Haymon.

The 50-0 fighter took to social media moments after the news broke out urging the MMA fighter to show him the cash if he is serious of a fight.

Meanwhile, the next fight of Nurmagomedov's teammate, Zubaira Tukhugov, reportedly was canceled following his role in the brawl that ensued after the Nurmagomedov-McGregor fight.

"Somewhere in Turkey", the Russian fighter said in an Instagram post with a Turkish flag emoji.

Mayweather is never one to pass up the opportunity to set tongues wagging and the prospect of another cross-over mega-fight certainly does that, however implausible it might be.
