Bush's daughter, Barbara Pierce Bush, made sure to pay tribute to her late grandmother and namesake, Barbara Bush, while tying the knot with her fiancé, screenwriter Craig Coyne, on Sunday. She wore a classic ivory silk crepe Vera Wang custom gown and was escorted down the aisle by her father, former President George W. Bush, with her grandfather, former President George H.W. Bush, watching nearby. Sister Jenna Bush and her family were also among the witnesses. She added in another post, "My heart exploded last night as I watched my dearest sissy get married in Maine".

The bride's twin sister, Jenna, wrote in an emotional post on Instagram, "Happy tears, heart exploding as I watched this handsome girl get married in the place that means love and family".

"It was a wonderful day in ME when Barbara married her love and Craig joined our family", she wrote.

The family says George W. Bush, Laura Bush and George H.W. Bush were in attendance.

Barbara's twin sister, Jenna, served as matron of honor. "Laura and I are so proud of our compassionate, daring, fierce, kind, intelligent, loving daughter".

Barbara's aunt, Dorothy Bush Koch, served as officiant of the wedding.

"We've been excited to do such a small wedding with just our family", Barbara Bush told People. Barbara Bush died at the age of 92 in April, leaving behind her husband, five children, 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

According to Page Six, couple sent family and close friends mysterious invitations to an "unspecified celebration", a celebration that turned out to be their wedding.
