Thomas was carted off the field with his leg in an air cast, and after the game Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed that he had fractured his leg.

Earl Thomas had a message for his team as he was carted off the field with a broken leg Sunday, but the Seahawks are brushing it off.

Thomas suffered a season-ending injury to the same leg in December of 2016 and it's believed that this ailment is of the same variety. "So I don't know what happened after that". However, we won't know who the finger was intended for until Thomas decides to reveal that. This was an earth-shattering moment for the kid.

"I don't know anything about that", Carroll said, via ESPN. "He went right to what it's going to take to get back ... and this is emotional as you can get, but he was very chilled about it on the field", Carroll said.

Thomas' future with the team was in question all offseason and has continued to be since he returned on the Wednesday before Seattle's opener. So give him a little slack.

Thomas has voiced his displeasure over his contract, which is in its final year and includes an $8.5 million salary. "This is a very, very hard moment that most people would never understand what this is about". Thomas is a great player and a major injury could be devastating to his season and upcoming free agency.
