The visitors broke the deadlock in the 31st minute when Ben Chilwell's deflected shot found its way into the back of the net.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has said that his team showed "heart" to come from behind to record a 3-1 win over Leicester City in Monday night's Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.

"Mesut Ozil had a very good performance today". The other player returning to the Arsenal starting lineup is Mesut Ozil, who has recovered from a back injury to face Leicester.

The Gabon global scored a double for the second game running during a 3-1 win at Leicester, after being called from the bench with just 30 minutes remaining.

Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, has played down his side's chances of winning the Premier League title this season. "We need to control matches more than we are doing now".

"I think of course we deserved another result, we played a brilliant first half, a fantastic performance with good quality, discipline and structure", said Puel.

They could also have had a penalty after Arsenal centre-back Rob Holding handled the ball seconds after being booked.

Stunned into action by that setback, Arsenal almost snatched an immediate equaliser when Granit Xhaka's free-kick was tipped over by Kasper Schmeichel.

Lacazette slid a ideal ball back into Ozil's path and he crossed for Aubameyang, who easily tapped home at the far post.

But Emery sent on Aubameyang for Lichtsteiner after 61 minutes and the switch paid instant dividends two minutes later.

But the Gunners equalised through Ozil before the break and secured victory with a three-minute brace from substitute Aubameyang.

Ozil played a superb pass to Bellerin and the Spaniard's low cross was just right for the unmarked Aubameyang to slot home from close range.

With Arsenal now through, Ozil produced a delicious chip over a charging Schmeichel to Aubameyang waiting to finish a simple tap-in for his second goal of the evening.
