To her and to everyone else in California battling the raging wildfires, the fear and terror must be horrific, and I am so sorry you have to endure this...

"This place. I got married there. She's a strong, smart woman".

Others were left to wait.

USA authorities say more than 8,000 firefighters are battling three large wildfires in California that have destroyed thousands of structures.

"There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor". "We need to look at better forest management in terms of federal lands all over the country". He added that the state is "vulnerable because of Climate Change" and cited "extreme weather events", an "extended drought", as well as high temperatures "in our hottest summer on record".

He said officials were moving resources and preparing for "the next set of fires" as winds are expected to pick up. About 500 miles to the south, the Woolsey fire continues to threaten areas around Los Angeles. Caitlyn Jenner and Dr. Strange director Scott Derrickson were also among the celebrities who lost their homes in the blaze.

Actor Gerard Butler returned to his Malibu residence Sunday and posted a devastating photo showing it in ruins. But the state's governor said it's not over yet.

In some neighborhoods "it's very hard to determine whether or not there may be human remains there", Honea said. The Camp Fire alone, which claimed Paradise in its entirety, has burned 105,000 acres and destroyed more than 6,700 homes and businesses.

It has burned more than 109,000 acres (44,000 hectares) and is almost 25% contained, fire officials said.

But Cal Fire spokesman Bill Murphy warned that gusty winds predicted into Monday morning could spark "explosive fire behaviour".

The southern part of the state used to be able to rely on help from their counterparts up north around this time of the year, Osby said, when the threat of fire was much less prevalent in those communities. While many have been evacuated, atleast 110 people are missing according to latest reports. She said she landed back home, spent one hour packing and evacuated shortly afterward. They are going to blow for the next three days.

Firefighters say that while temperatures have been warmer, homes are being built deeper into the California forests, making them more susceptible to forest fires.

Brown's request for a major-disaster declaration from Trump would make victims eligible for crisis counselling, housing and unemployment help, and legal aid. The Woolsey Fire in Ventura County has now affected more than 83,000 acres with 10% of the fire contained.

Deadline reported that other celebrities had had a near escape with the Woolsey fire. She said, "Our house made it!"

"A fireman took him to the house to confirm", Breeding said.
