Malibu On Fire, Evacuated

Evacuation orders were imposed overnight affecting tens of thousands of residents in both counties, and at 10 a.m. Friday, mandatory evacuation orders were expanded to include the entire city of Malibu.

Meanwhile officials in northern California say a wildfire that devastated a town of 27,000 is moving north and have ordered people in two Sierra Nevada foothill communities to leave their homes. The reality star's lovely home in the Malibu Hills was destroyed in the Woolsey fire, which is burning out of control. The threat continues Friday morning, with millions of Californians under "red flag" warningsportending windy, arid and warm conditions that pose extreme fire risks.

Sheriff Korey Honea said reports of more deaths are being investigated.

Since igniting on Thursday, the Woolsey Fire and the Hill Fire have burned more than 20,000 acres in Southern California as of early Friday afternoon, according to CalFire, and are 0% contained. She added that her husband, agent David Bugliari, was safe in NY and that her trainer was evacuating her horses. Winds were blowing between 25-30 miles per hour and pushed the fire across the freeway onto Conejo Mountain toward the Pacific Coast Highway.

Rescuers used a bulldozer to push abandoned cars out the way to reach Feather River Hospital and evacuate patients as flames engulfed the building, Butte County Supervisor Doug Teeter told reporters. Winds haven't been as strong in fires in the area in the recent past. She had lived there since 2015, with the pad being prominently featured on her reality TV show.

A wildfire burning in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas quadrupled in size, cutting power off from more than 23,000 homes and businesses late Thursday.

Beginning yesterday with the Camp Fire, Californians are now battling the Camp Fire, Hill Fire, and Woolsey Fire as high-speed winds continue to spark more blazes. Her deck provided a strong vantage point to monitor the spread of the fire.

The Woolsey blaze shut down 101 Freeway after causing the evacuations of 75,000 homes in parts of Thousands Oaks in northwest Los Angeles, the site of a shooting massacre by a former USA marine this week.

By 1 a.m. (4 a.m. ET), more firefighters arrived as the flames closed in on Janic's street.

While no homes or businesses have been lost due to the fast-moving blaze, a number of RVs and outbuildings have been burned and a firefighter suffered a minor injury, authorities said.
