External drives are the only way to expand your Xbox One storage capacity as it doesn't support internal HDD upgrades in the same way as the PS4 consoles.

"The November 2018 Xbox Update adds new ways to play some of your favorite games with mouse and keyboard support, more console interaction with Xbox Skill updates, listen to your favorite songs with the new Amazon Music app, and the ability to find your games faster than ever via improved Search", Microsoft's Jason Ronald explains.

It's not clear why the game is suddenly free, as Microsoft hasn't made any official announcements, but it seems likely that the promotion is meant to coincide with the XO18 event in Mexico City this weekend, which will include a two-hour Inside Xbox live stream on Saturday, November 11th from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM CT.

Yes, mouse and keyboard support for Xbox One has now officially rolled out as of today.

The game will be available for free for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers on that date.

A number of other games, including Bomber Crew, Vermintide 2, Thunder, and Deep Rock Galactic, have also promised support for keyboard and mouse control in November.

"Razer will be the exclusive partner to ship a Designed for Xbox mouse and keyboard and will formally introduce the product at CES in January". It's not so good for racers, beat'em ups, or sports titles, where the nuance of analog sticks and triggers can be more impactful. Cortana will automatically discover and pair your Xbox, so there's no need to login. Now, you have the ability to fully close a game or app via "Quit [game or app name]" or use your assistant as a controller with our new navigation mode.

These offers are made all the more tantalizing by a free digital copy of Gears Of War 4, which will be included with all Xbox One consoles and Xbox One wireless controllers purchased from participating retailers during the sales event.
