Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Accuses Trump of Witness Tampering

A prominent conservative writer at the heart of Robert Mueller's ongoing Russian Federation probe filed a criminal complaint against the special counsel this week; accusing the federal investigator's team of seeking "false testimony".

Stone pledged his loyalty to the president during an interview with ABC's This Week on Sunday, stating that there would be "no circumstance" in which he would testify against Trump.

"I'd have to make things up, and I'm not going to do that", he added.

Commenting on an investigation is not in and of itself a crime, but a Monday morning tweet by President Trump has some legal experts wondering if it crosses a line into witness tampering.

Trump said Michael Cohen, who served as his longtime personal attorney, should receive "a full and complete sentence" in prison.

A day earlier, he admitted in a plea deal with Mueller that he had lied to Congress about the timeline for a proposed Trump Organization development project in Moscow.

Stone also denied having had any contact during the 2016 presidential campaign with Julian Assange, the creator of WikiLeaks, the site that published hacked messages from Trump's Democratic opponents in an apparent bid to influence the election.

"Michael Cohen asks judge for no Prison Time, "tweeted Trump. Nice to know that some people still have 'guts!'", the president tweeted".

Corsi's complaint says he was unable to initially give "accurate" testimony on that point, until he could reload emails on his laptop.

Eric Trump chose to respond to his father's latest crime-some light witness tampering on Twitter for all of us to see-with a tweet about Kellyanne Conway's marriage.

Cohen's lawyers said he had fully cooperated with Mueller's investigation and would continue to do so, and deserved to avoid imprisonment. It referenced sections of the federal criminal code dealing with witness tampering, among other things, reports CNBC.

"Robert Mueller... and his out of control band of Angry Democrats, don't want the truth, they only want lies". The truth is very bad for their mission!' the president wrote.
