Seahawks celebrate TD by perfectly reenacting Richard Sherman's classic tip play

The day has come, and there was no doubt "Sherman vs".

As Sherman points out, the 49ers have been playing shorthanded for much of the season beyond just the loss of Garoppolo.

Seattle's backs averaged six yards a carry. "It was extra nice to be running along the 49ers' sideline. Like I said, we've got another opportunity next week to show up and the next couple games are home games and hopefully guys take advantage of that".

The rout had been on long before Wagner's interception in the fourth quarter. It keeps them on the path to a wild-card spot that is looking more and more attainable.

The Seahawks are one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment and couldn't have put it all together at a better time as they attempt to grab one of the NFC Wild Card spots.

"Kind of", Pettis said, "I mean, I love this city. It's good for the Rams". There certainly was a little more emotion involved in preparing for this week's game. The article stemmed from a 2017 ESPN report claiming there was a growing rift between the quarterback and several defensive players following Seattle's Super Bowl loss to New England after the 2014 season. It was a take-care-of-business game, and the Seahawks took care of business with another one of Wilson's more efficient performances.

In addition to his pick six, Wagner had a sack, another pass defended, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a game-high 12 tackles. "He had just a phenomenal game. That's kind of the way things have gone this season".

Like Goodwin, Garcon has also been available for eight games this year, posting 24 receptions for 286 yards and one touchdown. He added another touchdown in the second half to give him 11 over the last four games compared to no interceptions. Russell Wilson has led the way so far for Seattle, as he has thrown 3 TDs. Both Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny ran for over 60 yards.

Baldwin said it was awful how Sherman's tenure ended in Seattle and said it will be hard for his friend to separate those bad feelings from the good times he had with the team. Sherman could have agreed with the reporter and praised Wilson. "I think he threw for like 160 or 170 ..." Turnovers are going to be huge for the Seahawks in this game as they can really get the crowd rolling with an early takeaway or two. What else - if anything - did Seattle's receivers have in the works after three first-half touchdown celebrations, including one that paid tribute to Sherman's famous tip?

It's one thing to be losing close, hard-fought games with young players still learning how to win. That's just how it was ... "To see him on the opposite side in another jersey - that he looks ugly in - was cool". And while the Seahawks are no longer the dominant force they once were not long ago, at 6-5, they're still clinging to a shot at making they playoffs. And it started what they hope will be another late-season run like so many others they've gone on under Carroll. Over the season's final four games, it's imperative that the Niners find out not only who belongs but whether those who do can play a significant role.

"Absolutely", Baldwin said when asked if he thinks Sunday's win could be the beginning of another strong finish. I wanted to get a win out here, but we couldn't do that.

The Seahawks and 49ers will play each other Sunday in Seattle.

"Right away when we lined up", Pettis said on his 75-yard touchdown. For the Seahawks, it will be very important for their offensive line to set a physical tone against the San Francisco defense to get the running game going to set up Russell Wilson and the passing game.

Then, he joked, "It's just something we've been working on in the offseason".

Ok, so I said the offense wasn't ideal.
