The fourth-seeded Ravens (10-6) host the Los Angeles Chargers - a team they defeated 22-10 on December 22 - on Sunday.

After a distinguished 14-year career since the team, then based in San Diego, traded for him immediately after the first round of the 2004 draft, there are hopes that this could be the one for him and the team, whose only previous appearance in the big game was way back in 1994.

Lamar Jackson led the Baltimore Ravens to a 6-1 record down the stretch to swipe the AFC North. Facing a Chargers defense twice in 15 days, however, proved to be the kryptonite for the first-round rookie, as Baltimore came up short, 23-17.

Now Rivers, Lynn and company square off against a team that hasn't been too friendly to the Chargers.

Philip Rivers had a bit of an off-game the last time around, at least by his standards. Their last regular season loss came in a 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on December 9th. Now, despite being faced with the prospect of three road games in the AFC playoffs (barring an Indianapolis win next week in Kansas City), Rivers has arguably his best chance yet to go all the way. Los Angeles finished the season strong.

Lamar Jackson celebrates before getting in the end zone.

That much seemed to be confirmed when the two teams emerged from halftime and Flacco was warming up, while Jackson sat on the bench with a towel on his head.

Young's presence will be missed in the Ravens' secondary.

The New England Patriots crushed the New York Jets 38-3 on Sunday to secure a first round bye in the playoffs while the Philadelphia Eagles trounced the Washington Redskins 24-0 to set up a meeting with the Bears in Chicago. However, he did show potential in the fourth quarter, as he attempted an improbable comeback and drove the Ravens down the field multiple times.

With the Chargers going up three scores, Jackson finally found footing, leading the Ravens back with two late touchdown drives to pull within six points.

Also inactive for the Chargers are running back Troymaine Pope, center/guard Cole Toner, guard Forrest Lamp, wide receiver Dylan Cantrell, and defensive end Anthony Lanier II.
