Center Myles Turner added 22 points and was 3-for-3 from behind the arc. The Pacers improved to 35-19.

After Bogdanovic opened the game by scoring all of the Pacers' points in a 10-2 spurt, the Lakers never recovered.

The Lakers played like a team that had lost their spirit in their worst game of the season and equal sixth worst loss in franchise history.

And it could be perceived that James was sending a message to the Lakers front office to get something done. LeBron's first home game was spoiled by a brawl between Rondo and Chris Paul.

"We look at it as another win, but it does feel good", Thaddeus Young said.

"LeBron's gonna trade you!" the crowd yelled. With the Super Bowl over, the Lakers are the main story in town.

The Lakers sent five offers to the Pelicans on Wednesday. "I think it (the jet lag) hit us".

"Flying across the country had lot to do with it", said LeBron.

Thankfully for Ingram, and the rest of the Lakers, their next game will take place after the deadline has passed so they won't have to hear anymore chants like this.

Los Angeles have been in pursuit of the Pelicans star but have reportedly backed off because of New Orleans' "outrageous" demands. The Boston Celtics have been linked in a potential trade with the Pelicans this upcoming summer, but the Lakers wanted to throw their hat into the ring. Davis "liked" the trade proposal on a Bleacher Report Instagram post.

JaVale McGee also provided some much needed energy off the bench, which not enough of his teammates could match.

With every player except a handful having been included in trade rumours over recent days, there was always going to be question marks over if the Lakers were ready to play. The Lakers were wiling to give up everyone on the roster except for LeBron James.

Brandon Ingram appeared to shrug off the chants he heard Tuesday.
