Cogman has backed several iconic episodes in the series like Kissed By Fire, Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and the upcoming Battle of Winterfell. Ultimately, there's not much for us to know until the next episode arrives, but we'll give it to this fan - the theory is solid.

The biggest moment in the second installment of Season 8 was when Jon told Daenerys that he is actually Aegon Targaryen. The Night King is very likely to raise the dead who are housed there, among them Rickon Stark and Lyanna Stark, whose statue whose memorial statue we glimpsed last week.

As Mashable reported, fans on Reddit have already started predicting that the Night King won't show up for the fight. THE NIGHT KING IS NOT STUPID, not enough to kamikaze his most powerful asset. Sending some of his forces to Winterfell could also be a tactical way to cause a distraction and allow the Night King to safely travel south with little resistance. Another key piece of imagery is the shadow of a dragon flying over King's Landing, which with this theory suggests it's the Night King and Viserion. In this case, he could be the messenger of what's happening in King's Landing if this theory plays out. In season 2, Daenerys also had a vision where the throne room was destroyed and covered in snow.

In the vision, Daenerys walks around the Iron Throne and finds the palace deserted and covered with snow. The Night King wants an "endless night", Bran warns. When she woke up, you know what she did? Which will be good news for those of you who've been anxious during the season's first two episodes which have been heavy on the table-setting and exposition. Multiple characters take refuge in the crypts of Winterfell, others are on ground and ready for war and some are watching it all from afar.
