Duke and Duchess of Sussex reveal their baby boy’s name

Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, selected the Leaves and Flowers Baby Shawl in ivory, which also comes in pink and blue. Upon closer inspection, the front of the book is adorned with the sketch of a crown.

Their Royal Highnesses Instagram account, sussexroyal, broke the news of Archie's arrival by posting a sentimental photo of the family meeting, which also included The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess' mother, Doria Ragland.

Wishes have been pouring in from all over the world for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The video clip is actually watercolor sketches created by Disney Senior Principal Artist, Kim Raymond.

According to nameberry.com, Archie is a name of German origin meaning "truly brave" and is quite popular in the U.K. It might also have a special meaning in the royal family... Before entering royal life, Meghan had a lifestyle blog called The Tig, and in one entry she listed The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff as one of her five "must-read" books. Prince Harry had announced the happy news to the world with a gleamy face and revealed that the mother and newborn are incredibly well.

As they laughed, Prince Harry said: "I don't know who he gets that from".

Proud mother Meghan described him as having the "sweetest temperament", while a delighted Harry called him "our own little bundle of joy". "He's really calm" - to which Harry quipped, "I don't know where he gets that from!"

The elder son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, Prince William, is second in line to the throne.

Born at 5.26am on Monday 6 May 2019, it's been a full-on few days for the family but you couldn't tell amongst their beaming smiles.

"His looks are changing every single day", Prince Harry said. The infant is the eighth great-grandchild of 93-year-old Elizabeth, Britain's longest reigning monarch.

George was visiting grandmother Carole Middleton with sister Charlotte when they came upon a woman walking her dog, The Sun reported at the time.

Harry will make a flying visit to the Netherlands today to promote next year's Invictus Games - but no doubt the thrilled dad will want to hurry home to his wife and son as soon as possible.

The Duke of Cambridge has welcomed his brother to "the sleep deprivation society that is parenting".
