You'll be able to pre-order the "founder's edition" of Stadia for $130 / £119 starting today, which includes the new Stadia Gamepad, a Chromecast Ultra, Destiny 2 Ultimate Collection and three months of subscription (plus three months to give to a buddy!). Today we finally got a much deeper look at the upcoming streaming platform, where Google revealed the planned game line-up, pricing details, and even when users can expect Google Stadia to launch.

For all the now available Google Stadia information, and to pre-order the Founder's Edition, visit the service's website.

Google Stadia will reportedly include a free version next year which will allow you to play purchasable games at 1080p/30fps. You'll be able to play through the aforementioned Chromecast Ultra, a regular Chrome browser on any computer, or a Pixel 3/3a smartphone.

Google Stadia Pro will be made available this November and will cost $9.99 per month.

First, in November 2019, Google will launch the Stadia Founder's Edition.

If you're not looking for blistering 4K resolution or immersive 5.1 surround sound, Google Stadia will include a free subscription tier.

Instead, the buyer gets one of the new, Google Assistant-enabled Stadia Controllers, in an exclusive shade called Night Blue. While Google claims that top tier streaming will result in 4K visuals with 60 frames per second and minimal lag, the data cost on that content will be steep.

When Google initially unveiled Stadia, it promised a platform for everyone with the ability to play on nearly any device with a screen and an internet connection. The Stadia presentation event left us many questions a few months ago, and Google has already answered majority.

Confused? You can also turn it on its head and think of it this way: Everyone can create a Stadia account (but not until 2020) and start purchasing games from the store. Considering Google only had DOOM Eternal and Assassin's Creed Odyssey signed-up to Stadia during the March announcement, it has clearly been busy cutting deals these last few weeks.

For those who purchase a Founder's Edition, you'll also get a Destiny 2 package containing all add-ons and an annual pass.

Other titles shown during a montage video included Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Final Fantasy XV, the Tomb Raider trilogy and Just Dance 2020, among many others. The Founder's Edition pack also lets you get dibs on your preferred screen name.
