ITunes will stay on Windows despite Apple killing off the macOS version

Apple will introduce the ability to stream Bluetooth audio to multiple pairs of wireless earbuds with its upcoming iOS 13 upgrade.

iPad apps make it to the Mac.

iPadOS supports external storage, Apple revealed on stage at WWDC 2019 on Monday, including external drives, USB drives, and SD cards.

iPadOS tightens up the app grid and also allows you to pin widgets on the home screen, as you would on an Android device.

All sync services will now be handled in the Finder: when you plug in an iPod or iPhone, simply click on the Finder icon in the dock to see a new option under Devices where all the management of a phone or iPad will now occur. Just going through the chronological order of the keynote, we begin with recapping Apple's March event with no further details on Apple TV+ beyond a trailer of a single show (it does look good though).

"With macOS Catalina, we're bringing fresh new apps to the Mac, starting with new standalone versions of Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and the Apple TV app", said Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering in a statement.

Apple is taking its Mac platform out of the desert and to the California coast with the next version of its Mac operating system: macOS Catalina. It won't be broken up into several apps; it will work just like it does now.

This will, of course, be a defense against not only those robocalls that show up as originating from an "unknown" number but also those that have been spoofed to make it seem like they're a local, legitimate number - the latter being a type of call that users frequently get tricked into answering.

Other introductions to MacOS Catalina include; Project Catalyst (formerly codenamed "Marzipan") which lets app developers more quickly retune their iPad apps for MacOS, deeper and more capable voice controls, and the Find My app which can help locate a lost or stolen Mac even when it is offline.

In addition to high-resolution previews, the Files app also supports quick actions that will let you rotate and mark up items, as well as turn them into PDF files on the spot.

Text editing has also been improved on iPad, with new gestures for cutting, copying and pasting text.

Apple wants to change that with the launch of a new dedicated operating system for their tablets: iPadOS.

One of Apple's biggest surprises is for the iPad. "The idea is to give Apple users a more agile and secure experience", Cook added. "watchOS 6 extends our commitment to helping users better manage their health and fitness with powerful and personal new tools". Apple executives also said that Apple Arcade cloud-based gaming service, to be released later this year, will work with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 controllers.
