On Sunday night it was star Klay Thompson's turn to get bit by the injury bug.

In addition, backup big man Kevon Looney suffered a non-displaced cartilage fracture on the right side of his ribcage and will be out indefinitely.

Thompson says he'll be a game time decision, but fully expects to be out there with his teammates.

The guard underwent an MRI scan on his hamstring on Monday and ESPN reported he should be available to play with a mild strain when the series moves to Oakland, California.

"Klay said he'll be fine, but Klay can be half-dead and he'd say he's [fine]", he told the Associated Press. However, Warriors coach Steve Kerr suggested the team would have to be careful. "He thinks it is minor, so I don't know what that means going forward".

The Golden State Warriors are three wins from completing a three-peat and capturing their fourth National Basketball Association championship in five years. The Warriors are scheduled to practice Tuesday at Oracle Arena, so that could be Durant's opportunity to test the leg.

Over the last three seasons, the Warriors are 35-5 including the regular season and playoffs in games they've played with Stephen Curry in the lineup without Kevin Durant.

The best-of-seven series is tied at a game apiece with Game 3 set for Wednesday night.
