One of the biggest changes is more ability to customize the Mac Pro for special purposes. It's a hard decision, but luckily we here at TechRadar have used our tech expertise to help you find the best Mac for your professional needs.

Really though, I'm only focusing on the aesthetic because what's actually valuable about the new Mac Pro is for folks who work on projects that need far more horsepower than blogging.

In addition to the standard US$4,999 model, Apple is also offering a variant for an additional $999. It starts at $5,999 with an 8-core Xeon processor, 32GB of RAM, 256GB of hard drive space and Radeon Pro graphics.

Powered by an Intel Xeon processor with 28 cores, the Mac Pro has 6 memory slots allowing you to install up to 1.5 terabytes of system memory.

Apple introduced an overhaul to CarPlay, improving the design both aesthetically and in terms of how much information is displayed on a screen.

Below are the specifications of the new Mac Pro. Now the MacBooks will emit low-latency Bluetooth signal, which won't reduce the battery life, completely anonymously of course, and other iDevices will be able to detect it and help the triggered Find My request find your turned off device. It takes the tried and true design of the iMac and repurposes it for a professional-level computer. On the computer, you can't access services that aren't tied to an Apple TV channel.

The new Mac Pro boasts a fairly impressive set of specs.

According to the company, users have the option to get the device loaded with AMD's Radeon Pro Vega 2 or Radeon Pro Vega 2 Duo.

Eight PCI Express expansion slots allow the system to be configured for any number of workflow needs.

The Pro Display XDR is created to be an ultimate editing display for photographers and other creatives, and for that, you'll pay a pretty penny: the display itself starts at $4,999 without the special stand - the Pro Stand costs $999 by itself. The Pro Display XDR will also be available this fall. This time, Apple says the Mac Pro is built with upgrades in mind, but it's a very Apple approach to upgrading your computer. Which new features are you most excited about seeing? For example, the Mac Pro can supply an MPX module with as much as 500 watts. Yes, fifty thousand dollars! That means when bought together, one Mac Pro can set you back $12,000, or enough to buy a new vehicle.

Seeing the new Mac Pro up close brought back fond memories of the old pre-2013 "trash can" Mac Pro. And that price will climb considerably as you add more power.
