Warriors' Looney ‘should be able to play’ in Game 6

The reigning back-to-back Finals Most Valuable Player leads all scorers this postseason with 32.3 points per game on 51.4 percent shooting in 12 appearances.

The future of the National Basketball Association might have changed on Monday evening when Kevin Durant went down with what could be a torn Achilles in the second quarter of Game 5 of the Finals.

The NBA Finals are making one last trip to Oracle Arena. The Raptors and their fans must've felt that they had the game in the bag when Leonard started to heat up late, but four consecutive misses and a turnover during a 1:10 stretch had them finishing on the wrong side of the scoreboard. "It's definitely an exciting time, and we've seen celebrations and "Jurassic Parks" pop-up locally, just as we've seen across the country", says Johnson.

"Really?", let's take a quick gander at an ongoing story involving the Toronto Raptors - the team that just coughed up a game at home against the Golden State Warriors in game 5 of the NBA Finals and (checks notes) Monster Energy drink?

Now the Warriors have a chance to pull off the feat themselves, but it became more hard after Durant limped off in the second quarter after he had missed the previous nine games with a strained right calf. On the right wing Monday, Durant dribbled between his legs as he cut left toward the top of the key.

The roller-skating grandma who attended the championship parade two years ago in Durant's honor wailed, "Nooooo!" when she saw Durant lose the ball, bounce toward the sideline and then crumple to the court, pinching his right ankle. "He gave us what he could", Curry told reporters.

"The theory here (not fact) is that Durant had some partial injury to his Achilles that the Warriors knew about and treated appropriately with over a month's rest and made a calculated risk/reward decision that didn't work out". He'll have a MRI tomorrow. "He's a good teammate, he's a good person, it's not fair", he said.

"I knew he wasn't ready", Page said. "If you have to, you can blame me; I run our basketball operations department".

Two years later, Golden State added another of the best shooters ever in Kevin Durant. Including the go-ahead score, Leonard went on to score 10 straight Raptor points, guiding his team to a 103-97 lead with 3:28 remaining in regulation.

"I'm not here to. he's one of the most misunderstood people". No one cares who is exhausted or if you're facing a little fatigue.
